At Archway Endodontics, we want the financial side of your care to be as clear and straightforward as possible. Our team works with patients to help them understand their estimated insurance benefits, anticipated out-of-pocket costs, and available payment options before treatment, whenever possible.
Our goal is to help you receive the endodontic care you need while making the insurance and payment process easier to navigate.
Dental Insurance Verification
When you schedule an appointment, our team will collect your dental insurance information and verify your benefits directly with your insurance company. This verification gives us an estimate of what your insurance carrier is expected to pay toward your care.
Based on the information provided by your insurance company, we will provide an up-to-date estimate of your out-of-pocket costs. The estimated patient portion is due on the day of service, before treatment begins.
Please keep in mind that insurance verification provides an estimate rather than a guarantee of payment. Your final benefits are determined by your individual dental insurance plan and insurance carrier.
Delta Dental Insurance
The payment process is different for patients with Delta Dental. Delta Dental has informed our office that benefits are paid directly to the patient rather than to Archway Endodontics.
For this reason, patients with Delta Dental are responsible for paying the full treatment fee before service. We will submit the necessary claim information on your behalf, and Delta Dental will reimburse you directly according to the benefits available under your plan.
We Help File Your Dental Insurance Claim
We understand that dealing with insurance paperwork can add unnecessary stress when you are already focused on your dental health. After your procedure, our team submits the information needed to process your claim on your behalf.
This may include procedure codes, diagnostic images, clinical notes, and other documentation requested by your insurance company. We make every effort to provide the necessary information so your carrier can properly review your claim and determine your reimbursement.
Using Out-of-Network Dental Insurance Benefits
Archway Endodontics works with most dental insurance plans, and many plans offer some level of coverage for care received from an out-of-network provider.
Although we are out of network with all insurance plans, we don't want insurance status to stand between you and the care you need. We verify benefits before treatment, help patients understand and make the most of available out-of-network coverage, include CBCT imaging with consultations at no additional charge, and have structured our fees to help keep treatment affordable.
For many patients, the resulting out-of-pocket cost may be similar to what they would pay at an in-network office.
Certain plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and some federal plans, may not have out-of-network dental benefits. Because every policy is different, we encourage patients to review their individual coverage and contact their insurance company if they have questions about specific benefits.
Our team can also provide an estimate of your anticipated expenses before treatment.

Understanding Possible Limitations on Dental Insurance Coverage
Most dental insurance plans do not pay the entire cost of treatment, regardless of whether you receive your care in-network or out-of-network. Depending on your policy, your coverage may include exclusions for certain procedures, copayments, annual or lifetime dollar limits, coinsurance requirements, deductibles, or a specific table or schedule of allowances.
Insurance plans can vary considerably, even when they are offered by the same insurance company. If you would like precise information about your benefits, we recommend contacting your insurance carrier directly.
Our team can assist with verification of your insurance, in order to provide an estimate of treatment expenses. We can also provide supporting documentation to help you receive the benefits available under your policy.
CareCredit Financing
For patients who would prefer to spread the cost of treatment over time, Archway Endodontics offers CareCredit financing. CareCredit can allow you to move forward with needed treatment while making payments over an extended period.
CareCredit financing through our office means costs under $500 may be paid interest-free over 6 months. Costs over $500 may be paid interest-free over 12 months.

Avoiding Insurance and Payment Misunderstandings
We encourage open discussion about treatment recommendations, insurance benefits, and fees before care begins. While we are happy to verify benefits, estimate expenses, file claims, and provide documentation, the financial obligation for treatment ultimately remains the patient's responsibility.
Treatment decisions should be based on what is appropriate for your dental health rather than solely on the amount an insurance company agrees to cover. We will work with you to explain your recommended care and help you understand the financial information available to us.
What If My Insurance Company Denies Benefits?
If your insurance company does not provide a benefit you believe should be covered under your policy, we recommend contacting the carrier directly. You may also want to speak with your employer's benefits representative if your dental coverage is provided through work.
Our office will make every effort to assist by supplying appropriate documentation related to your treatment and claim.
